The Journey of Arnel Pineda

I had a conversation with my mom like months ago about Arnel Pineda making big in Hollywood. But I didn't really paid much attention to what she's telling me. Sabi nya si Arnel Pineda sikat na sikat na kinuha ng banda dyan sa US. Sabi ko sino naman yun? anong banda naman yun? my mom didn't remember the name of the band.

Then yesterday I stumble to Journey videos one of my favorite song kasi is Don't stop believing I was so shocked when I found out that he's the front man of Journey. OMG I was so speechless one of my favorite 80's band is Journey well im not alone isa sa mga die-hard fans are my husband and my FIL naku pag nasa kotse kami laging Journey songs ang tugtog.

Arnel Pineda really sound like Steve Perry, no doubt he got the gig. Sya pala sinasabi ni mama ko lagi. I learned his life story when I watched the Journey interview of CBS in yt, how he was chosen to be the front man of Journey and then I read somewhere that one of the US consul in the Philippines didn't believed that he's trying out for Journey but another consul heard their conversation and incidentally he went to Bagaberde and saw him performed tumatak yung boses ni AP he took over tapos pinakanta nya si AP sa embassy saka nya naalala na sya yung napanood nya sa Bagaberde. Edi approved agad ang visa ni bro AP.

His story is very inspirational a true to life Cinderella story I got misty eyes after hearing him sharing his story the song Don't stop believing really fits to him. I saw his/Journey performance in Ellen De Generes in yt he really gave me a goosebumps. It's so amazing how the Lord works in his life. How he got this blessings.

Lessons learned let's not stop believing in reaching our dreams! keep on dreaming. One day the Lord will grant our wish.

A real Alien

I really don't believe in Extra terrestrial or Alien but this video somehow convinced me that maybe Aliens are real. If this is fake this is the best so far I ever seen in youtube.

Chronicles of Narnia "Prince Caspian"

Last night Abe and I went to the movie theater and saw Prince Caspian. What can I say it's really a well made movie, I can't take my eyes off in each scene of the movie especially during the battles while eating my popcorn.

One of the best place is New Zealand where they filmed this movie it was so beautiful and breath taking. I was blown away with the beauty of the forest and the crystal clear fresh water & the sea.

I noticed the actors grew big. Edmond and Lucy had a big growth spurt for the past three years *lol*
And Peter and Caspian are so cute. I can't wait for the next Narnia in 2010.

So far the best movies that I've seen for this year are: (can't wait to get a DVD copy)
1. Iron Man (great come back for Robert Downey)
2. Chronicles of Narnia "Prince Caspian"

and theres more to come like Indiana Jones on May 22, Zohan (love Adam Sandler), Get Smart.

I highly recommend "Prince Caspian" you won't waste any dime. I give it 4 stars!

Perfumes

*pasensya na kayo if you encounter ugly pop-up window in my blog I don't know how did it happened and I dont know how to fix it either pati ako nabibiktima just turn on your pop-up blocker*


I felt a little awful I splurged on buying 5 perfumes in one day. I took it as a treat for myself but I went overboard, I always love perfume my father always buy me something when he was still working (so blame it on him *hehehe*) I'm always a fan of Gucci, Tommy and Calvin Klein. I guess I outgrew my fondness to Gucci or Tommy.

I always wanted to buy Euphoria it's still CK and Armani code for women. So when I had the chance I lose control of myself. I didn't end up buying Armani code but I bought other perfumes it's not strong it smells sweet and clean.
Makakalimutan ko ba ang CK one kahit may bagong labas pa ang CK but I still opted to get the classic I always love the scent of CK one.
